Hi Grandpa how is it in heaven? I bet your taking lots of pictures. Remember how you would take so many pictures of me and I would hate it? Now I am so thankful to you for capturing those memories for me. Now I'm the one always taking pictures! I miss you so much. Its been 5 years today since you left and it still hurts. You were the most wonderful man in this world and you were a hero for me. I don't know where I would be if it weren't for you. I know you watch over me and see me in my dreams. I still carry the Angel in my Pocket card you gave me in my wallet. I believe that you are the angel in my pocket. Thank you so much for everything you did for me and my family. You made life so much easier for us and I will never forget that. I'm a hairdresser now and I hope you are proud of me. You always told me I would be something great. Hey Grampa! I know you have been watching over me. I have these dreams that I run into you, and always ask "where have you been?" and you say "on vacation." then you say, "I love you, gotta go!" It's funny because you always have on your Hawaiian shirt. I know you are there, and I miss you so much. I can't wait to see you again. Thanks for watching over me,I love you. Oh... Its been 2 years since he left us. He was the most wonderful person in the world and I am happy that I got to spend almost everyday with him the last few years before he was diagnosed. I will always love him and be grateful for everything he did for my family and I.

We are deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved father. We know that it must be very hard to lose your father after such a courgeous struggle with cancer. Our deepest condolences and sympathy to you and your family. I was very young (4 years old) when your father joined the Navy and moved to Tacoma, Washington. My mother and (your Grandmother) always spoke of George as a loving and caring son and brother to all of us. Maybe one of these days we will get to meet you and your family. Grandpa used to love calling me up and seeing if I wanted to go out to the base with him or help him with some project around town or at his house. I was always more than willing to go with him and I am glad I was able to spend so much time with him in the last few years of his wonderful life. Grandpa helped build our wonderful deck and a shed in our backyard. I will never forget him saying something like, "Hoota, hoota" or "Man it's cookin' in here," or "No! Don't throw that away, you could use that some other day!" I'll always remember Gramps, and may his soul be free as a bird and watch over us all. Bye Grandpa!
