George Herbert "J.R." Jadin Jr.'s Obituary
In Loving Memory of George Herbert Jadin, Jr. "J.R."
George Herbert Jadin, Jr., affectionately known as "J.R.," lived a life filled with hard work and unwavering dedication to his family. His passion for classic cars was a defining aspect of his existence, as he found immense joy in tinkering away in the garage for countless hours. His love for this pursuit was passed down to his son and great-grandson, who now carry the torch with pride, honoring this cherished family tradition. With his skillful hands, there was no repair beyond his capability. It was truly remarkable that he had the opportunity to impart his knowledge and enthusiasm to those he held dear.
J.R. had an undeniable sweet tooth and an insatiable love for chocolate cake, which his wife flawlessly prepared for him on every occasion. Another one of his favorite indulgences was enjoying pickles "Elvis Style" – often paired with peanut butter. He possessed an adventurous spirit, always ready to embark on a new journey at a moment's notice. From camping trips to seaside escapades, visiting national parks to taking scenic drives and participating in car shows, he reveled in the simple pleasures of life, especially the precious moments spent with his beloved family. These delightful experiences undoubtedly created lasting memories for everyone fortunate enough to share in his company.
George is survived by his devoted wife, Grace Jadin, who stood faithfully by his side for 65 years. He is also survived by his son, Russ Jadin (wife, Fonda Jadin), and his adoring grandchildren: Jennifer Steffey (husband, James Steffey), Kerri Shaffer (husband, Doug Shaffer), Camaron Jadin (wife, Janae Jadin), and Gracie Jadin. Additionally, he leaves behind seven great-grandsons: Austin, Tristen, Dayton, Colton, Carter, Rhys, and Porter. The presence of his large and loving family provided George with immeasurable comfort throughout his life.
A celebration of George's life is planned for June 11th. For those interested in attending the gathering or seeking further details, it is advised to contact the family directly.
May George rest in eternal peace, and may his family and friends find solace and strength during this challenging time. His absence is deeply felt, yet his memory will forever thrive through the love he shared and the profound impact he made on the lives of his cherished ones.
