Junior-What can I say. He taught me a lot w/o even knowing he was doing so. As a impressionable youngster, he intruded me to drag racing, which happens to be one of my favorite pastimes to this day. I love cars as well but not so much on the wrenching side. One of the other things I picked up from him was my love for huge pancakes, smothered in peanut butter and jelly. I spent a lot of time with him and Aunt Grace when I was a kid, and I am very blessed to have had that time with them. He was always very willing to teach us stuff, and even our children. I always felt comfortable and at home around him and Grace. I will miss seeing his face and the way he answered my phone calls with a “oh ya-is that so”. The man had dad jokes to boot. I will mostly miss joking around with him. He always was very jovial with me, and I deeply appreciated our relationship. My last words to him a few days before he passed were thankfully “Love you JR”. RIP Uncle JR.
