Gary was the best neighbor anyone could have ever asked for! The neighborhood will never be the same. Bob, Jo, and Gary welcomed me and my family over 20 years ago. I will forever miss our conversations while out cutting our lawns, getting our mail, or just driving by. For the longest time, I really didn't feel that I needed a security system or Ring doorbell because we all had Gary. Gary always looked out for our neighborhood and will be greatly missed. My condolences to Jo, Sandy, the other family, and friends.

Who can say they've have a life long friend, Me since birth.... From kids playing in one another's yard to Baseball at the water tank with the neighborhood gang . Through school , Motorcycle riding, Snowmobiling, Waterskiing Camping trips . Yes we've done it all. Most friends move away you lose contact and it's the occasional Christmas card . We were lucky only four doors away. A true friendship was almost better than family... It was very tough seeing you struggle and in pain these past months .. my hope was you'd get through this and we'd have more time .. Gary your no longer in pain and you are now in very good company..rest easy my friend as Mom now has four more sons in Bruce,Brian,Tom & Myself along with Sandy to care for her... Missing you deeply your Friend, your brother from another..

I was saddened to hear that Gary was in hospice and end of life was imminent and ultimately passing. I knew Gary and his parents since Gary was born. Being neighbors growing up, and then again as adults, we did not stray far from the N.E. Tacoma area. Bob, Jo, Sandy and Gary were just part of our little bit of heaven, with the Holder's, Keizer's and other's. My condolence's to Jo, Sandy, and the extended family that Gary leaves behind. Fair winds and calm seas my friend, and may you rest in peace! Bill Hyatt
