My condolences to Helen and all the Grant family. One thing I especially remember is that " great" smile of Fritz's.I also fondly remember the wonderful times the Grant family and ours(Henry and Mary Holstead and their sons-myself and brother Bob),spent on Winney Hill Rd. when Fritz, Hubie, Alfred, and Agnes and Bob and I were kids. For me the highlight of the 2014 Grant Family Reunion in Oneonta, NY was Fritz saying a Swedish prayer via the telephone, which we amplified so that all those present could hear. I enjoyed connecting with him over the phone as I prepared for that reunion and hearing his stories about his father, Edwin Grant. Fritz was a very gracious and generous person. I remember seeing him several years ago on my grandmother, Elsie Grant Wiest's front porch in Oneonta. We all enjoyed his visit so much. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family.
