Bonanza, licorice ice cream. brightest Christmas lights in the neighborhood...where do I start with memories of
frankie, Unca Frant to my kids. Although we moved around a lot, Frank and Dorothy and the girls were a large part of our lives for so many years. Frank was honestly one of the friendliest, most "real" person I've ever met. The world just got smaller now that he's gone.
Frank was one of those special friends in life that a person is so fortunate to have. I first met him when my dear friend Dorothy & he started dating, I knew he was going to become the “special” one in her life.
Recalling when they became parents both times, seeing how much love & devotion they had for their two baby girls!
Frank was such an endearing & loveable friend for the next 68 years. He was always there offering help however needed. So many wonderful times & memories throughout the years.
I recall his treasured new Buick back in about 1955, he would instruct you to crack open a window a bit to close the door, due to the interior being so air tight! They don’t make ‘em like that any more.
Our most sincere condolences to the entire Holdener/Ecklund families & his to his special companion Fran.
Frank will be so greatly missed.

So many memories! Swimming in Lake Geneva after a busy day with crowds, along with Ma and others. He and Dorothy lived with us on Fawcett Ave. Frank bought a colored TV. Sunday nights it was the Flintstones and then Bonanza. He would yell yaba daba do like Fred Flintstone! Loud! He was my Brother in Law, but we called him our Brother. Love you Franko!
