My Aunt Frances was a lovely woman in all senses of the word. She was a role model of kindness, compassion, and acceptance. It has been a month since her death and there is not a day that goes by that I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t think of her in a loving way. To list her good qualities and attributes would take a page.

Her passing has left a hole in our hearts. She will be missed by all.

I worked briefly with Fran when her husband became ill and took a leave of absence from The Tacoma Daily Index. She was a lovely lady and so kind to a kid out of high school. I still remember the tennis racket she and marshall gave me as a thank you for my extra help at the paper. They were both lovely people. My early life was enhanced by both of the Skidmores. Dear Family - So sorry to see Mrs. Skidmore's obit in the news tribune. What a wonderful person she was to me. I worked at Tacoma Day Nursery for 25 yrs (1978-2002). She was a Board member and I had many nice contacts with her. I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend her sevice on Wed as I now work at Concordia Lutheran School, where I am the lunch program supervisor (cook).
