My condolences to Recardo family. I just found out that he passed away. I find Uncle Drico warm hearted and a ready smile. May he rest in peace. An eastern philosopher once wrote:
Everything together falls apart
Everything rising up collapses
Every meeting ends in parting
Every life ends in death.##imported-begin##Cesar B. Viajar##imported-end##
i would love to take the chance to talk about this very wonderful man.
he had this relaxed way about him that made him a really great person to be around.if you ever had a chance to listen to him talk or taste his cooking. then you knew the real man. his sense of humor was very laid back and he loved to laugh. Not only that he was very loving human. if i had the chance to meet him again i would gladly accept it.##imported-begin##richard##imported-end##
Freddy, please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I didn't know him, but a man's character is often revealed through his son and I know you're a great guy. After reading your dad's life story, I'd say he was quite a wonderful man.
If you would like to talk, please call me at (253) 272-9625.
Again, my sincere sympathies to your family. God bless you.##imported-begin##Richard McMillen##imported-end##
Dear Recardo family,
I hope you remember me. I was married to Rick Honrado in the 70's. I want you to know I have such wonderful memories of your Mother and Father, and you too. Your parents had that exceptional ability that allowed me to feel like family. I loved going to the NCO Club with your parents and dancing with your Father until I was exhausted, but he was not. Oh, how wonderful it was to laugh with your parents. I still chuckle at the memory of not being able to leave their home without eating. The food was always so good. I missed your parents and all of you when Rick and I parted ways, but those wonderful memories that are too many to share in this space will be with me forever. I loved them too.
My condolences to you all.

Recardo Family,
Regrettably, I did not have the privilege of meeting Mr. Recardo. However, I sense his heart and spirit through his son Romeo, my friend and co-worker at the USPS. He was blessed to have such a loving, devoted and care-giving son. Thanks from this veteran for his incredibly courageous and heroic service to America.
My Heartfelt Condolences,

Dad,
Yesterday was Father's Day & I couldn't help but think that it was only a few day's ago we were sitting at the house talking about what we were going to do to celebrate it. I enjoyed those afternoon talks with you. They actually helped to build my confidence up enough to try cooking for you! That was something I swore I'd never do! I will miss those times, the sound of your laughter, your wonderful sense of humor, and, of course, our trips to your "therapy sessions". However, now I can find comfort in knowing you're where you want to be, and that's with Mom & Eddie. Please give them my love, along with my parents & baby Hailey. Let them all know how much they're loved and missed.
With Love Always,
Claire##imported-begin##Claire Recardo##imported-end##
On behalf of the Felipe L. Batayola family, I would like to express our deepest condolences to the Recardo family. Tay Drico is now in a better place with our Lord.
Growing up as a child, I remembered Tay Drico was a great dancer. He also had a way with the ladies...must be the blood, cuz my Papa's the same way. Ernesta says it was Tay Drico that brought our family our first Thanksgiving Dinner in 1960. Mom and the 7 kids just migrated from the P.I. ( of course I wasn't born yet). He made the best turkey.
He used to come visit us frequently to our parents home on Sunnyside along with the children and Auntie Carmelita who would pinch our cheeks every time she saw us!
I really have found memories of your parents. Thank you for having such loving and caring parents. Continue to spread the love that they have given you.##imported-begin##Betty Batayola##imported-end##
