My Cuzzin Eva. We had so much fun together when I would come to Seattle, we go shopping, go get our Nails& feet done. we will stay up late at night and watch movies and eat snacks. I will miss our long talks that we would have on the phone .I Love you and miss you. RIH
Such fond memories of Thanksgiving dinners. Eva was always so welcoming and treated everyone like family. Her kindness, gentle spirit and warm hugs will never be forgotten. RIP sweet lady.

I honor not just a friend, but my sister in heart and spirit. From the moment I met Eve, our bond became something rare and sacred. She knew me in ways few ever have. Through unique circumstances, our lives were woven together for years, bound by laughter, tears, resilience, and a love that carried us through it all.
We also shared a special bond as mothers, raising our children together as a family unit, supporting one another with unwavering strength, wisdom, and compassion.
We created memories that will forever live in my heart, moments of joy, late night conversations, and whispered prayers that healed in ways words never could. Eve stood beside me in seasons of celebration and in times of deep pain, never wavering, always present.
Though her physical presence is no longer with me, her love remains. I see her in the strength she poured into me and in the faith she helped nurture within my soul. She was a gift in my life, and I am forever changed by knowing her.

Aunti Eva treated me as one of her own children. She traveled to Atlanta to be with us during the birth of our 2nd child (he was late and she missed his birth); she shared her famous gumbo recipe with me and I still use it today; she taught me how to prove my point without raising my voice.
The Atlanta Durr Crew is going to miss her dearly but our hearts are warmed knowing that she is resting with our Lord.

Just being with her; enjoying her dry wit and ever present kindness. She didn’t have to promote herself. She just was. Quietly authentic. A grand lady. I did love being in the Seabrook kitchen watching her create her magic. I will deeply miss her.
