I had the pleasure of working with Gene at Puget Sound National Bank in the late 70's. He was delightful. I think of him with great fondness, and am happy that he lived such a rich life. Bless him.##imported-begin##Carol Anne Bills (Labriola)##imported-end##
I got to know Gene through working with him at the bank, but more than that our friendship continued on after the working years. We had alot in common from our Catholic upbringing, Italian heritage and of course football. I will so miss all our weekly conversations during football seasons. He was a wonderful friend and I will miss his laughter and smile.##imported-begin##Linda Hetlage##imported-end##
I worked at the bank with Gene for 30 years and knew Gene for almost 45 years. I enjoyed a few times with Gene at the Fox Island home. And, there were always the retirement parties for fellow employees at the Cloverleaf on sixth Avenue. Gene was my boss for many years and when Gene retired, I took over his spot at work. For the next 15 years Gene and I and another good dozen or so retired men from PSNB would meet a couple times a year for lunch and swap stories about remembering the old employees and where are they now. Well now that ET has gone home it leaves a great void in our lives. Take another look at his smile....that was Gene for sure...a wonderful friend who will be greatly missed. May the good Lord bless Gene's family and friends plenty. My apologies in that I will not be able to attend the service for Gene, but Gene will always be remembered and his laughter will always ring in the hallways of my mind. Blessings.##imported-begin##Dennis Stiffler##imported-end##
As a former neighbor on Brouse Blvd.,I had manny fond memories of Gene. We had manny spirited battles on the hand ball court and the tennis court. I miss those times. Tom, Kathryn and Laurie your father was a great friend and super individual. I still remember going over to your parents house off of Grandview and doing your parents taxes. Inverably, they would owe more taxes. Your mom would always complain bitterly. But your dad would always say "Lois write the check and be done with it". Take care I miss all of you.##imported-begin##Hank Pedersen##imported-end##
