Etta Lytle Cory has been a name familiar to me for more than 55 years. My mother and my aunt were girlhood friends with Etta. My aunt traveled with Etta to Arizona from Montana in the 1920's and I remember seeing photos of them standing in front of huge cactus in the desert. When I was a student at PLU, Etta and her family treated me as family and I treasure those memories. Etta wrote me vivid letters, keeping me up to date on family matters. What a wonderful friend and what a wonderful mother to an amazing family. She will be missed.##imported-begin##Beatrice Whitehead##imported-end##
