Hi Wade and Grace, I am actually writing from Croatia where I am teaching English at a seminary. (You can't delete the state when you sign in.) I heard about your father's passing through e-mail and also went to the News Tribune website to see the obituary. I really thought so much of both of your parents. They were in a home Bible study in my home for several years, and Erv continued after your mom died. They both were such lovely people, and I know your dad is glad to have joined his beloved Jerry. My prayers are with you as you grieve this loss.

Deanna, Wally & Wade: Our prayers and sympathies are with you at this time. As you know we knew your folks for as long as they lived in Tacoma and attended Bethel. Sorry we were unable to attend the viewing or the services. In Christian love. Art & Lorraine##imported-begin##Art & Lorraine Larson##imported-end##

The passing of a friend is always diffcult. Erv and I were golfing competitors back in the mid 50ties when we met in the College Golf Club championship finals. The final round was a scheduled 18 hole match which finally was concluded on the 39th hole. Since that time I have always had the utmost respect for Erv as a christian, leader, and fellow competitor. We who knew him have all been blessed by his profound faith. May God bess him and his family.##imported-begin##Ron Hovey##imported-end##
Our heartfelt prayers and sympathy are with you and your family. May you sense God's comfort, presence and peace in a "special" way. "Erv" was very "special" to us.....and to the Lord. Great is his reward in Heaven. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited at Jesus' feet. "What a Day That Will Be."
Love,
