Ernie Franklin McAtee Jr.'s Obituary
Ernie McAtee was born in Phoenix AZ July 14, 1935 and passed away March 24, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest & Esther McAtee, his sister Ellen (Dave Cohrs) and his son Wayne S. McAtee.
Ernie is survived by his sister Charlotte & (Frank Mecklenburg) and Brother Kenneth McAtee and (Barbara)and their children, Cheri (Wes). Jeff, Tami, Kevin (Becky) and the children, Ernie Children, Debbie Raines and Darren Kramer.
Ernie former wife Pat McAtee and her children Sarah, Autumn Lindy and Bryan and their children.
Ernie went to Sherman Elementary, Mason Junior High and Stadium High School. He served four years in the Air Force and four years in the Reserves. He worked for the Tacoma School District and retired with 30 years.
Ernie was avid cyclist, Rode from Tacoma to Reno NV 950 miles four different times. He did 200 mile rides and owned six very nice bikes. Played table tennis very well, and played in the state tournament he loved active sports.
We will miss Ernie and we will look forward to seeing him in Heaven.
