My grandson was a joker who could make you feel loved and foolish at the same time. I shared with my daughter a private prayer and devotion time while on my commute downtown Dallas. A visit to Seattle involved a trip to the pet adoption center to help Sonya choose a cat. From the back seat, Erik leaned forward and began teasing me about that personal time..."grandma, when you pray while you're driving, do you close your eyes, making it sound like I was driving on the busy freeways with my eyes closed in prayer? That's who he was...That's who we will always miss! Love you forever Erik!
