To the Westbrook Family: Our deepest condolences in the loss your of loved one and our dear friend. My first conversation with Chuckie, was on the sidelines of Bethel HS football field. He stood out because he had a suit and bow tie on and ran across the field, and introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Chuckie," during a game his brother was playing in. He bought a hot potato the "B-club" were selling to keep our hands warm. He was so excited and said he couldn't wait until he was old enough for high school. He said, I remember you from church! Throughout the years, his energy, and love for people remained unchanged. When his family moved to our neighborhood, he would jog by and visited our home regularly. Lots of memories! He loved us, particularly, my mother, her cooking, and hospitality. In her decline, he was there. He was our brother, and will be sorely missed.
Much Love,
Janet Anderson

To the Family of Eric Charles Westbrook,
So sorry to learn about the loss of your Dear Loved One, Eric. Please know that so many people share your grief with you to help you through this difficult time of sorrow. Please accept my deepest condolences as we await the time when Christ Jesus will awaken all of those who have fallen asleep in death; including your Beloved, Eric.
I first met Chucky at New Jerusalem in 1986 and will never forget the light and life that emanated from him and his lovely wife Julie. We later formed a friendship that allowed me to learn many things about life and ministry that carry me to this day.
One of which is the way he transferred his love for Jesus and a pure faith free of encumbrances to his children.
My personal experiences with them as teens and young adults always left me knowing that the seeds of greatness have been sown in them.
As God has now shifted the season I pray that the Westbrook family lives with the pure faith and vision that Chucky would have if he was still here. Also remember that many are praying for your strength in during this time of bereavement and recovery.
Blessings,
Pastor Mike Wilson
I will always remember my cousin Chucky for his wonderful sense of humor, his inspirational singing, powerful preaching and his kind words of encouragement to me personally. He was always fun to be around and a great role model to the young and old. My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family during this time of reflection and celebration of his life and legacy.
Much Love,
Seraphine Kinlow
