In the very early 1980's my daughter attended Ellen's daycare in Spanaway. If I worked later than expected, Ellen would take her home with her, made sure she did her homework, and oftentimes Jenni had dinner with Ellen and her family.

We have wonderful memories of Ellen, she was a kind-hearted woman with a deep love for children. I remember well her enthusiasm during the planning stages of her "infant day-care" located next to the main daycare. I still drive by the house almost every day and every time I do, I think of her.

It is with deepest sadness that I hear of my Aunts passing. Aunt Ellen had been a caring loving person her entire life and i have fond memories of her. She will be missed and never forgotten. On behalf of my family I offer our condolences to the entire Cannell family.
