I met Ed at Burien Nissan in November 2001 while shopping for a Nissan Sentra. I was impressed by his sincerity and straighforward approach to automobile purchasing. I subsequently purchased a 2002 Nissan Sentra based on his recommendation. During the ensuing years as I brought my Nissan in for service we would sit down and visit and discuss politics and military experiences. I personally recommended Ed for promotion to Burien Nissan after I purchased my Sentra based on the excellent manner in which he handled my Nissan purchase. My father, now deceased, happened to be in Seattle when I closed the deal on the 2002 Nissan. Dad had spent most of his career in the automobile parts and insurance industry. He had the same high regard for Ed as I after meeting him at Burien Nissan.

I worked with Ed as a vendor for Burien Nissan for the last 7 years. He struck me as a man of high values that put great credance in honesty and hard work. He could be as stubborn as a mule but when I gained his trust he was someone I could always count on. I very much enjoyed seeing him every week and I was so sorry to read of his passing.
