Edward James ZookBorn in Seattle December 21, 1966, died in Puyallup Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at age 36. A beautiful spirit, beloved and will be missed by all. He is survived by father Robert Zook; mother Sally and Robert Grammer; brothers Paul and William (Patti). Ed passed away unexpectedly at his home with his father in Puyallup. He touched many lives and he will be missed by a host of people. He grew up in Maple Valley and spent 18 years in Tacoma and surrounding areas. He got his high school diploma from Green River Community College June 16, 1989 and was a good athlete and earned awards in track and field events, he played football and baseball and liked the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and target shooting with his brothers and friends. He liked a broad variety of music, movies and TV shows. He played a mean guitar and trumpet. He was currently writing music, practicing his guitar and writing his journals. He actively supported Disabled American Veterans, Feed a Child World Partners Program and he gave directly to the street people he met. He worked several years for a custodial service and six years for Lincare Medical Supply Co. of Fife. He delivered oxygen and medical equipment to homes in the surrounding counties. He put a lot of himself into his life and relationships and also loved and cared dearly for the children in his life.In lieu of flowers, contributions to the above organizations or to a charity of your choice is suggested.Viewing will be Friday, March 7, 2003 from 11 am to 9 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. A celebration of Ed's life will be held at the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma, on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at 1 PM with a reception immediatley following.
