We have very fond memories of Edith.
Bill was one of her "boys". That was how she referred to the men that Les coached when becoming Masons. There were over 50 of them. Of course, they all studied in her home.
She was also the reason both of our daughters joined Bethel #32 International Order Of Jobs Daughters. It was her reccomendation.

I am writing this for my Mother and Father, Stan and Ethel Hopkins as they were friends with Edith, also with Les. Mom and Dad were both involved with the Amaranth; my Mother was also a Worthy Matron and my Dad was a Washington State Worthy Patron. I had met Edith and Les many times as they were great friends with both my parents. Edith and Ethel met in 1940 at pre-school when our kids were at Whitman elementary school. Many memories are remembered through PTA and when both were Worthy Matrons of Eastern Star and numerous volunteer organizations. May Edith rest in peace.
