Edith was kind, friendly and always excited when we talked about sewing.
I will miss seeing her across the street.

Our hearts go out to Edith's family. We met her through her son Rick and daughter-in-law Sue. She loved to spend time at their home.We remember all the goodies she would prepare for everyone during the holidays and how she loved her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by all. God bless.##imported-begin##Bruce and Kay McKay##imported-end##
We could count on Edith to hem our pants and repair our favorite clothes. In fact, when my Grandfather died, she transformed one of his wool shirts for me. I wear it often and have fond memories of him.
We also have fond memories of Edith. Although we were often "on the run", Edith always took a few minutes to talk. We always envied the warm fire she kept in her house. We thought her granddaughter, Charlotte, had the perfect Grandma! I know Edith was so thrilled with her new sewing room addition.
Life was easier, because we always knew "Edith could fix it!"
She will be missed, by two people her friends and family have never met....us.
