Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Dorothy married Eugene Blake Sr. and together they moved to Fort Lewis, Washington in 1961. Over the years, she became the proud mother of 7 children, grandmother to 22 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 45 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother to 5 great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy love for Bingo was well-known, and she found immense joy in the game. She was also deeply involved with her church and participated in numerous outreach programs, dedicating her time to helping others and strengthening her community. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith will be remembered by all who knew her. Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and commitment that will continue to inspire her family and friends. Her family invites those who knew her to celebrate her life by continuing her dedication to helping others in their own communities.
