Don was one of the kindest and most thoughtful person that my husband and I have had the honor of knowing and working with. We will miss him greatly.
There are way too many memories I had with Don. He was a gentle kind man. He never had kids, but he did raise my boys as if they were his own. He would get them up every morning make sure they were feed get them dressed brushed their teeth and get them off to school while I was in nursing school. He supported me going to nursing school because of his mom and his sister. He was always with my kids on holidays and gatherings. He was my best friend for over 30yrs.
Don was a great man. He helped raised my boys and helped me get through nursing school. He was always around making sure my boys got the coolest x-mas gift. He would go to every store he could and always ended up on the base getting the items my kids wanted. I was with him over a decade. We remained friends the past 30yrs. Don you will forever be in my heart as well as my children... I love and miss you so much.
