I worked with Dennis for eight years at TRS in the 90s. As a shop steward he stood by me for work related issues and personal ones as well. Sometimes I'd help in his department. The constant bickering between Luanne and Dennis was very entertaining and made my day go by faster.
he was my friend for 33 years like a brother and sometimes a pain in my ass. but he will be missed by all of us. he was my work partner for 15 years, and still a friend till the end. I feel sorry for Julie and his son's loss. his grand kid's will miss a wonderful grandfather and a great fishing buddy. please let me know when the memorial will be I will be their forsure. I wanted to go say good buy too him but was too sick to be around othet people. will miss him always.
I met D in 1992 when he got a second job working with me at Liquidation Sales warehouse. I complained to him about the low pay and bad hours and the next day he brought me an application for TRS. The next week I was hired and I had the pleasure of working with him for the next 20 years. If it wasn't for his generosity who knows where I would be. I made sure to tell him as much but he was so humble I don't think he realized the full impact he made in my life or others. Meet you at the Beach for a beer bud!
