Sandy Young
Dee was my older sister. As kids she was always bossing me around. As adults we kind of reversed roles when she worked for me in our family business. She was the person I could always count on no matter what was going on with her life. She was one of the most loyal people I know. If you needed something and she could do it, she would.
We lived together for a year not long ago and even though she couldn't get around well, she did everything she could to make life easier for me when I came home from work. Always asking as soon as I walked in how my day was and give me a run down of how our dogs were that day. Although her health wasn't good in the latter years Dee was always the one to reach out to everyone in the family to make sure everyone was doing ok. She loved her daughter unconditionally. Her biggest joy was her granddaughter Taylor. She was so proud of her!
I know she is so happy to no longer need those crutches or oxygen and be with mom, dad and her little dog Debbie. I miss her every day, but blessed to have had her every day of my life until now.
