Deanna Lou Clarke-McMath, born Deanna Lou Schroeder, peacefully passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 59, in Puyallup, Washington. She was surrounded by her loving family. Deanna was born on November 16, 1963, in Lancaster Read Obituary
I met Deanna in the 4th grade when we moved to Federal Way and lived a block away from each other. We spent most every day together at school and playing after and had lots of sleep overs. I moved away in 8th grade, but we kept in touch and saw each other often but eventually we went in different directions. We did finally reconnect on Facebook a few years ago and had plans to meet up "One Day Soon". It was heartbreaking to hear of her passing. I have nothing but fond memories of Deanna. I found a few pictures from 1978 of her to share. Rest In Peace Deanna.
I met Deanna at her long-ago employer shortly after arriving to Washington. She was the caregiver to my two dogs at the time, Bruno and Baby. She nicknamed Bruno "Old Man" because he was so stubborn and Baby, she was just that a Baby. She took on my next two dogs as well Sleven and Chica. She named Sleven the same because he was truly following in Bruno's footsteps, she said. Where Deanna moved her shop, I moved with her. She was always a joy to visit with. She will be sorely missed. Sleep well my friend till we meet again.

I first met Deanna when I took my kitty to Petco for grooming. The love she shared for my baby girl was like no other. I came to the point where Deanna was the only groomer I wanted to work with my baby Scarlett. I was excited when she opened Groomingdales. Through the next 15 years, she developed a loving telationship with Scarlett until I lost her to cancer.
I adopted two calico kitties, and she was so in tune with them that she found that one had a bladder infection. I took her to the vet and she was put on meds. I was set to go camping, and Deanna offered to watch them for me. I ended up staying home.
I will miss her so much!
