Dean A. Woods Born April 3, 1933 in Appleton, Wisconsin; passed away May 24, 2008 in Tacoma, WA. The family relocated to Seattle, 1943. Dean joined the Merchant Marines in 1949 and then served in the U.S. Army 1953-1955. Married A Read Obituary
It is with most sincerest love and appreciation to Jean that I offer my sympathy and condolences. Dean was a great guy who could make me or the kids laugh. He could light the room up with his jokes and laughter. I am honored to have met the both of you and the kids and I will miss him. Dear Jean and Woods Family Members,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of this very fine man, whose generous nature and love of people and life will be long remembered as his legacy. I will remember Dean as fun-loving, interested in others, interesting, helpful, courageous and never anything less than a perfect, classy gentleman in all things. He will be missed by many. Hi Jean,
Snooky just told me about Dean and our summer road trip to Canada flashed before me. I'm so glad we stopped by to see you guys. Dean was such a character and even though it had been awhile since we saw him, he still made us laugh! When we left he was so gracious and went out of his way to give us a quick tour and escort us on our way to Canada. For a minute there I thought he was going to find a way to come with us. (ha!) I loved the way he loved life and his spirit lives on in all of us who enjoy living life to its fullest. Love ya, Nancy
