Happy Birthday tomorrow. I pray for you everyday!
I have wonderful, fun memories that my sister, Debbie, and I spent with Dave and Bernie as children. We had tons of fun plotting and planning when we were together, usually working as two teams, Dave with Debbie and Bernie with me.( Like the time we decided to see how many times we could jump off the garage roof while visiting Grandma and Grandpa...) I am grateful for the blessing of the time spent together and the memories of same. I hope that such memories of those who spent time with Dave will come to bring them comfort too. My condolences to all who feel the sting of his absence, especially Aunt Laura and Uncle Mick and Joan.
Dave... Please say "Hi!" to Bernie and Debbie for me! Love You!

Dave,
You were a valued member of the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I want to thank you for your service to the nation both with the Seattle District and in the Army. The cheerful and provessional way you went about your business set a great standard for all. I appreciate all that you did to take care of the Cavanaugh House & other facilities at the Ballard Locks, & enjoyed interacting with you on other projects you assisted me with. Rest in peace. Essayons!

Dave, we will all miss you in many ways. At the Ballard Locks, you were a very fine carpenter, a great coworker and a kind man. We are lucky to have worked with you.
Dave, I know you are now at peace and out of pain. I will miss seeing you out in the yard and working in the garage. You were a very special neighbor. Haley Jo and I will miss you.
Judy
Dave, you will be missed by all who knew you. You were truly the real deal. I hope you are up there with Bernie laughing like brothers do. You will never be forgotten at any family get together and always be thought of with love and true admiration for the guts and courage you showed during your battles. Aunt Sherrie.
If I had known the last time I spoke with you was going to be the VERY LAST time, I would have told you that I love you a million more times. You have been such a joy to me, especially during the most recent few years...and you will be missed, my dear cousin.
I'll always love you. Carla Kay
