Darwin Rabe's Obituary
Darwin -Å"Bud- D. Rabe
Born 9/28/1931 Died: 7/10/2010
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Bud Rabe unexpectedly left this world on July 10, 2010. He will be greatly missed by a large extended family including his wife, Marjorie, their children and spouses, Rjordia & Rick, Jim & Gail, Doreen, Rick, Tammy and Tim & Denise; Grandchildren, Becky, Felicia, Kevin, Aaron, Sara, Dan, Kathleen, Davis, Austin, Casey and Kayla; Step Grandchildren Amy, Arden and Angie and Great Grandchildren, Tressa, Andrew, Anna Marie, Gentry, Owen and Ameera.
Bud, as he always preferred to be called, worked hard all of his life first as a millwright and then as a shop foreman supervising the maintenance of diesel trucks for Nalley's and later for Post Trucking. Upon his retirement, he and Marjorie purchased a fifth wheel trailer and traveled extensively, but especially to their favorite getaway, the Oregon Coast. They spent many happy hours with their fifth wheel group, exploring camp groups in various locations throughout Washington and Oregon.
Bud was always available to help anyone who asked, both family, friend and stranger alike. He was a strong, quiet man whose favorite hours were spent with all of his family together.
Although we will all miss his quiet presence, we know he is now walking the beach with his beloved Mooch.
