My Father: Simply known as Bud, Dad was a man of few words
though with every action implied a million.
His deeds showed how all action was head and heart
before need.
He always had two helping hands and never turned anyone away
A heart filled with love,Your kindness could not be beat
Laughter was always your best medicine
It did not matter if you had known the person for years
or minutes they were freinds
Hope was always round the corner and
that silly grin just hidden
The joy of every memory is what I now cherish
and it comforts me to know you gave us
just a little of who you are to continue to share with
others
I know that you just were planning ahead as always
to make the room for this extended family

We will miss seeing Bud in the Alley behind our house. One of our memories is that we were celebrating our son's baptism, it was a very hot day and we had a party in the backyard. Bud immediately brought a tent/ shelter over for us and even helped us set it up! That is really how we thought of Bud and have many of those types of memories.
