Darlene Mae Allison-HollandBorn June 13th 1942 Reunited with her son Jerry Jr. and her brother Melvin Jr. On October 15th 2007. Survived by her parents Melvin and Lola Allison, 3 sisters Sandy (John), Judy (Joe), Bev (Ron)1 brother Fred (Elaine) 3 daughters Kimberly (Mike) Jones, Kristin (Dave) Wilbur, Carolyn (Chuck) Carolus, 4 Grandsons Jerad, Jason, Derek and Tyler, 6 Grandaughters Dejah, Jamie, Nicole, Michelle Haley and Courtney. And numerous family and friends. Darlene was born and raised in Tacoma, Wa. She attended Lincoln high school where she met her 1st husband Jerry Keister Sr. they had 2 children Jerry Keister Jr. and Kimberly Keister. Darlene then married Gordon Grimm and they had 1 child Kristin Grimm she later married Earl Holland who himself had 1 daughter Carolyn Holland. Darlene was a huge Betty Boop fan she collected almost everything ever made from the famous cartoon from her era, she even sported a betty boop hairstyle for a short time. she also loved collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. She worked in the food industry for a catering business as well as other jobs throughout her youth. Darlene loved her grandchildren very much they all called her Nanny Noo Noo. One of her favorite musical artist was Patsy Cline and she always listened to her while doing things around her home. In her younger days she loved to dance and socialize with friends and family. She was an avid shopper and would spend a whole day shopping while her husband Earl would sit in the car and wait for her because she never drove she never did very well on anything with wheels in fact she refused to use the brakes on a bicycle and would jump off and use her feet Æ'º She had a dog named Gina, a cocker spaniel which she loved and spoiled her rotten. Darlene enjoyed all the holidays but Christmas was her favorite and she would go to the extreme when decorating her home and on Christmas day would tell all her grandkids here comes ¡§Nanny¡¦s Santa Sleigh¡¨. She had quite a sense a humor and loved to tease and harass her kids and grandkids. Mom we all love and miss you so very much.
