I knew Dae Dae as my grandson 's good friend who would come over to hang out with him in my grandson 's room. I spent hours and hours listening to them laugh at times, but mostly giggling and giggling like a pair of Jr. high age girls. So up lifting.
And Dae Dae was a dog magnet. When he walked in, all dogs came running and crowded around him so he could hardly walk. I carefully watched to see what he did to attract them, to see his secret. There was nothing out of the ordinary, he acknowledged each one with a quick scratch or pat. That's how I knew how special he was, cause I learned many, many years ago that a dog's judgment of a person is accurate. When a dog respects and trusts someone, that person has a kind, loving soul. I know that he was a reflection of the family that raised him. I miss him, too. Janice Teeter
