As one of those Hartley "cousins by the dozens" I mostly saw your mom at large family gatherings, but occasionally, we'd have the opportunity to really have a catchup. I enjoyed her sparkle and wit, and she always made me laugh. Christmas wasn't complete in our family until the reciept of the annual Dysart Christmas card, and even when I got older, it was the first thing I looked for when I was home for Christmas.

My thoughts are with you, and may her memory be a blessing to you all.

Mrs. Dysart was the "cool mom". As a friend of Marilou's, we spent many nights at the Dysart house on Baimbridge. It was a safe place for teenagers, where we knew we could be stupid and no harm would come to us. 😊 I also remember being invited to the family gatherings at Cannon Beach. They took a lot on allowing two of Marilou's friends to tag along! As a kid you don't think about how awesome she was to us, but as an adult reflecting back you know she was a generous and loving person and we always felt welcome. Sue (Monsaas) Sund

My first memory of Aunt Cori was when I served as the flower girl in her wedding with Uncle Ben. We had wonderful Dysart family gatherings in Washington and Cannon Beach, OR. It was wonderful to visit with Aunt Cori at Emily and Anthony's wedding several years ago, my last time to see her on earth.
