Shirley ,Linda, family and friends. I sincerely want to covey my heartfelt condolence. I remember as a kid my mom told me we had relatives in Texas. They would communicate writing letters to one another. I went to visit her last year and she was happy to see me. I did not stay long but the short visit was rewarding and we talked about family. Before parting I told her she was a shining example on raising her kids and grand kids. That put a big smile on her face. And I told her I was very proud of her. Upon departing she gave me bag of home made lumpia. I did not to take it but she strongly insisted. Out of respect, I took the lumpia. Teary eyed.
