Clyde Dwight Young's Obituary
Clyde was a loving father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. To carry on his legacy are his wife, Teauna; four children, Taniesha, 20, Bryce, 16, Austin, 16, and Cyeauna, 4.Clyde has come from a wonderful family of a mother, Thelma; father, Edell (D); four sisters, Juanita, Diane, Easter, and Sandra; five brothers, David (D), Edell Jr., Rickey, Jerome, and Andra. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Clyde was born in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, and later raised in Tacoma. He graduated from Stadium High School. In his early years Clyde was known for being the arm wrestling champion. He wrestled throughout the country and took his trophies home. Later on, he became very fond of playing golf. For those that knew him well, he was either easy to beat or a challenge. He played in various tournaments throughout the years with friends and family.In the most recent years of his life he enjoyed going to the casinos and playing Â"Texas Hold  Em.Â" Clyde was a man of many talents. He built his own home and was the one who family and friends knew they could call upon to fix anything. He loved working on his Â'64 Impala and had big dreams for what it would be.Clyde was an extraordinary man who touched the lives of many people and was taken from his loved ones too soon. Â"My GirlÂ" will forever bring a smile to our faces. YouÂ'll forever be our sunshine.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, June 14, 2005, at the Mt. View Valley Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. View Memorial Park where Clyde will be joining his father, Edell, and brother, David.Remembrances may be donations to the Dream Foundation, www.dreamfoundation.org
