Clarann (Otteson) Wilkins
Clarann passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was born in Crosby, North Dakota, and moved to Tacoma to join the war effort in 1944 where she met and married Ralph "Scotty" Wilkins in 1945. Clarann retired after 31 years with Tacoma Public Schools, having spent 23 of those years teaching kindergarten at Wainwright Elementary. She was a founding member of the Redeemer Luthern Church in her hometown of Fircrest. Clarann is survived by her son Scott, his wife Mary, and their two sons, Steve and his wife Mardi, and Casey and his wife Michelle; and her daughter Milly, her husband,Steve, and their son and two daughters, Zac, Hayley, and Christy, as well as her great-grandchildren Hannah, Samantha, Erin, and Troy. Clarann was preceded in death by her beloved, Scotty, in November 1989. Services will be held on Friday, August 5th, 2011, at Mountain View Memorial Park, Garden Chapel, at 11:00.
