Chris, chaundra and family,

I am so sorry. This is nearly impossible to believe. I was just thinking about you the other day. I think of you and chaundra often. I hear you in my mind, in so many scenarios. For example, i recently learned how to drive manual transmission. I love driving now. sometimes a i love it a bit too much. And there you are, Chris voice recounting stories of stupid speeds on the hwy and what is reasonable before losing control. Filling that it with facts and stats. In other words, in your own way telling me to be safe, when my foot became a bit too much lead. HARRY POTTER!! i My introduction to the epic that is Harry Potter, is forever tied to you. I can still see you, excitedly on the couch ready to dive into yet another book. You were ahead of the curve on that one and i am so thrilled that i was in your vicinity to pick up on that secret glorious discovery that is potterverse. I am so thankful for so many reasons. Too many to recount. You and chaundra left an imprint on my and influence that resonates within me still, and eternally. All my love. <3

To: Chaundra, Connor, and Cooper, I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was a great person and always showed love to everyone. He was compassionate and kind. Chris was my ring bearer in my wedding and so adorable. As an adult, we didn't talk much, but was always wishing he was closer in distance so we could spend more time together. I was very proud of his accomplishments, and I wish he was as proud of himself as others were so very proud of him and he felt that love. Chaundra, Connor & Cooper We are deeply sorrow for the loss of our beloved Chris. He was the most wonderful young man, our precious nephew and cousin. We have so many memories of him. I can still hear his voice even as a little boy. We are feeling your pain. God give you all comfort and strength each day as we look forward to the time when we will all be together again. Chris, I don't even know how to form the right words into sentences that can ever give you the honor that you deserve, or communicate how deeply your loss will be felt in our family. We are devastated. You had such a sweet spirit, and a loving heart. I always looked up to you and respected you for just being who you were and what you accomplished in your life. I always thought of you as being such a strong person, both physically and in strength of character, as someone who was able to deal with hardships and come out the other side stronger for it, and accomplish every goal they set. We may not have been close in age, but I always felt a sense of that little extra special kinship we had.
I remember talking to you many times about our shared love of music. I remember when I was little having a tape, yes a tape, of your's and Bobby's band Samarium and how cool I thought it was that y'all had a band and made a record and had an official album. You were so talented much more than you knew or gave yourself credit for.
I had always wanted to take a trip to Seattle and come visit and I wish I had. I hope you can rest in peace now. I will love you forever cuz.

To Chaundra, Cooper, and Connor, and the entire family I can't even express how sorry I am for your loss. Chris was a truly awesome person and I'm proud to call him my cousin. He will never be forgotten.
