Dear Charlotte, Paul and families,
We are so sorry that we cannot be with you at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and will be in the days to come. I know it's not easy losing a Dad and Grandpa that you've been so close to. He was really special and I'm sure you have lots of wonderful memories to enjoy and be comforted by. We always loved getting his letters, from all over the world back when he was in the AF and then from Washington when he retired. He helped us know you all, even though we never had much chance to be with you personally, being so far apart geographically. He talked about each and every one of you and your special ways that were so dear to him. It came through in all his letters. You have a wonderful family to be proud of.
Also I enjoyed my visit back in the 70's when I had been in California for the summer missionary job, and came up for a couple of days before coming home. Like Carol said, it was so nice getting to be with family far away from home, and getting the royal treatment from your Dad and Mom and all of you that were around. I'll always remember making a snowman in August at Mt. Ranier park.
Thanks for your love back then and now. May our loving Heavenly Father comfort and sustain you in the days and weeks to come. We love you all. Doug and Amanda send their love too.##imported-begin##Gaila & Darrell Neathery##imported-end##
