sat beside your bed
knowing it was your last day
as you took your final Breath
and gently flew away.
I felt you leave your body
as I held your hand.
You took a part of me with you,
to Heaven
That day is still so raw
like a open wound that just won't heal.
Replying every moment,
wishing it wasn't real.
So many days of loneliness. So many tears shed.
2 month of living without you,
a stomach full of dread.
as I sat by your bed,
a tear stricken face
as a million tears i shed
In every single place.
I take comfort from the knowing
that you are free from pain,
and the hope that one day
we will meet again.
You dance within my memories,
and sleep inside my heart.
The past walks beside me,
meaning we will never be apart.

I remember my son finding new friends. There this little kid super young maybe 10-11. He'd come to my house to skip school. I'd ask him why you not in school he said I got kicked out, me thinking mmmhmm kid okay. And one day his auntie comes knocking asking for him, I look in the room he jumping out the window by than I had to tell his auntie catch him in the alley. 🤣

Carlos , My love, My heart, My happiness! Oh how I miss your vibrant personality, your ambition, your loving & caring soul! You taught me so much in your short 14 years here with us.. I think of you every day and miss you every minute!! I dream of one more hug, one more I love you, one more look at that beautiful smile & that contagious laugh. You loved hard but I promise I love you harder son!! Miss & love you more than I could ever express!!!!💔😭😭

My special moment that I remember like yesterday was the first time I seen ur face and held ur little self in my arms & held ur little hands I fell in love all over again. Waking up everyday hearing good morning mom with a smile on ur face brighten my day even on my most saddest , or stressed days you was always there to make me laugh at ur jokes.
