Carlos Ariel Caraballo Arocho's Obituary
Carlos Ariel Caraballo Arocho, 75, passed away suddenly Monday, November 20, 2017. He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, where his family lovingly called him by Ariel.
Carlos retired from Western State Hospital, where he had worked for close to 40 years, and "was kind of a big deal" with every one of his co-workers. Married 36 years, WSH is also where he met the love of his life and best friend, Kumiko. He also served in the United States Army for 26 years, with overseas tours in Germany and Korea, and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Irenes Caraballo-Arocho; brothers Isidro Jr, Urbino, and Jose Anthony; and his oldest son, Tony.
Carlos is survived by his remaining adult children, Johnny (Carol), Ricky, Mikey (Amy), and Becky (Kenn); their mother, Fredia, and Mitchie; Thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sisters, Lolita, Luz Margarita, Iris Betsy, and Noemi; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews from Puerto Rico.
Visitation hours will be held 11:00am-8:00pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
A funeral service honoring the life of Carlos is 12:00pm, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the Valley Chapel with Interment to follow at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
