Dwight and I were close colleagues for several years; he taught the media class for the library program I chaired at Highline Community College. I’ve been selling my surplus books (maybe 2000 from my parents, etc). My listings included a couple of copies of Dwight’s nice little book, Northwest Animals For Little People. Every time I ran across them, I meant to call Dwight and speak of old times at Highline. Today, someone bought both copies I had listed. That moved me to try to re-find his phone number. Instead, I found his obituary and notice that the funeral was earlier today.
Dwight was one of the kindest, most caring people I have known. I am sorry the chance to contact him is forever gone.
I do have a few more copies of his book, should anyone be interested (no charge).
