Brenda and I met years ago when we both worked for the same company. We instantly bonded over our love of reading; especially Stephen King and our love of animals; especially dogs. Although we remained friends for years, we eventually lost touch due to job changes, moves, marriages, etc. Brenda was one of those rare people that, no matter how much time had gone by, you could continue the friendship as if you’d just seen each other yesterday. I was looking forward to reconnecting with her and learned of her passing in the process. I’m sorry I was too late, my friend. I always have and always will think of you whenever I read Stephen King. Oh yeah...my Grandma was right! You really can re-read a book after 10 years or so and it’s like reading it for the first time! Rest In Peace, my friend ❤️ My condolences to Brenda’s family and friends.
