Bob Jeffrey's Obituary
Robert (Bob) Jeffrey peacefully left this world on December 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Bob Jeffrey was born in Glasgow, Scotland and resided in Washington the last 40 years.
Bob Jeffrey served in the US Army 1961-1966, USAF 1966-1982 and retired in January 1982 as CMSGT. He was a firm believer in protecting and honoring his country. Bob then worked for McChord Credit Union, now known as Harborstone Credit Union for 18 years, retiring as Vice President of Administration. He spent the next several years volunteering at the Red Cross and coaching girls’ soccer. Bob traveled the world and was always on to the next adventure. He supported his community, always loved to be surrounded by family and friends, enjoyed teaching and mentoring others and always did things ‘his’ way! Bob Jeffrey led a full and enriched life.
He is survived by his wife, Jung (Inja) Jeffrey, his daughter, Donna Jeffrey, his son, Robert Jeffrey III, step daughter and son, Maria and JC, as well as three grandsons, Forrest, Cooper, and Mason, and a great grandson, Braylon.
Friends and family are invited to the Celebration of Life from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on January 8, 2019 in the Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 followed by light refreshments and a time of reminisce.
Funeral service with Military Honors will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th Street Kent, WA at 3:00PM following the Celebration of Life.
