On November 27, 2013 Blanche went peacefully to her heavenly home. She was born in Minot, ND on January 18, 1923 and lived most of her 90 years in Tacoma, WA. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Lovell (Jim) of Tacoma and Lou Read Obituary
So sorry for the families loss of such a bright soul. I met Blanche at Merrill Gardens and loved her smile and positive attitude. She made my day when I would come and visit my friend Virginia. Blanche always touched my friend and made her feel special. Loved meeting some of the family when they came and Blanche was so proud of them all. Will miss her and send prayers for the family as you go through this time of loss. Bless you all.

We met Blanche through our Uncle and has been part of our family for many loving years. I don't think I ever saw Blanche without a smile. She made us feel welcome in her home no matter when it was. We loved to surprise her when we would stop by with our camper. We're so glad that we could share Blanches life for as long aswe did. Blanch and my uncle were a perfect couple for doing what they did. They made each other happy and had so much fun together & had a very special friend ship. Blanche I want to thank you for letting me have the time with you that I did. We'll miss you more than you will ever know. Someday we'll see one another again. You're in Gods arms holding you tight so you're not hurting anymore. We'll see you again someday. We miss and Love you with all our heat.
The Lord has blessed my life giving me a loving Mom for 75 years. Not many are blessed with so many years to share with their Moms. She wore a smile even when she was heavy hearted. She loved taking care of others needs. She didn't have a lot of material things but she was happy with what she had. She didn't ask for much she would rather give something to others. As the years past we learned that it was better to disagree agreeably, that way we could just love one another unconditionally. It made life sweeter and the memories treasured. I will keep on loving you until we meet again. This isn't good bye, it's just a temporary separation until God calls me home. I love you Mom!
