Blake Colbo's Obituary
Blake Daniel Colbo
Blake Daniel Colbo, age 28, passed away July 28, 2011 near Seattle, Washington. He was born April 18, 1983 in Tacoma, Washington, the beloved son of Marvin and Denette Colbo. He was the youngest of four siblings: Sam Colbo (wife Sokha); Caroline Wachter (husband Jason Wachter); and Brett Colbo. Blake cherished being a doting uncle to Elias and Sydney Wachter, and grandson to Lorraine Mulholland. He graduated from Curtis High School in 2002 and Western Washington University in 2006 with a passion for sales, and brought that passion to the company for which he worked, Member Access Pacific (MAP). Blake loved laughter, golf, memories, and putting the needs of others before his own. His infectious sense of humor was never censored, and his personality was marked by a distinct genuineness and ambition. Blake lived a richer life in 28 years than most could dare to dream, and his contagious laughter, opinions and hugs were as bold as his personality. He came from an ever-growing family full of aunts, uncles and cousins. His friends were his second family, and his lifelong best friends became his brothers as they grew in their lives together. Blake was preceded in death by grandparents Carsten and Rachel Colbo and Charles Daniel Mulholland. A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Church on Thursday, August 4th at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
