Blake - my fondest memory of you is when I came home from work excited that my new recliner was delivered earlier that day only to find you fast asleep in it and Kyle doing same on the sofa! I didn't have the heart to wake you since you were resting so comfortably. I always enjoyed your occasional video phone calls when I would check e-mails. You must have had a good laugh the first call when I kept accidentally hanging up on you, but through your numerous call backs we finally got connected. Blake,
We became best friends at Karen's Preschool. We continued our friendship through elementary school. In intermediate school, we began to grow apart. We talked occasionally through high school. Afterward you left for college and I joined the Marines. We saw each other one last time at a restaurant in Tacoma. We were still friends even though we hadn't talked for years. You will always be a cherished friend and memory. We will meet again my friend.

I cannot express how sad I was to hear of Blake's passing. He was such a kind, gentle soul. I'll never forget how kind he was to me when my father passed, he was there to encourage me to keep my head up when all I wanted to do was run into some dark corner and cry my eyes out. He kept telling me it would get better and offered his shoulder to cry on. Blake was someone who touched my heart and will never be forgotten. I loved how when he thought I was getting down, he'd say, "that's what she said..." because he knew that always got me to laugh. I will keep Blake and you guys in my prayers and thoughts. Words can't express how deeply I'm saddened by Blake's passing. Having worked with him @ MAP from the beginning, I can honestly say it was a great pleasure.
