My best memories of aunt Betty are of her laughter and her joy of life. Her laughter was genuine and contagious, she always seemed to be enjoying the moment. I loved that about her.
I looked forward to visiting with her and Hank when they would visit my mom (sister Frances) and dad. I enjoyed listening to their travel stories. But most of all I enjoyed her laughter, that was my favorite memory.
My Aunt Betty was a fun loving Aunt that I looked forward to seeing every summer in Montana. She was a woman who held her family together and led by example always including everyone to make them feel special. I remember her laughter being so contagious as we sat around together as a family. Remembering past stories told especially by her brother Hank (my dad) who exaggerated each one just a little bit to make Aunt Betty laugh a little louder. He loved her so much as we all did. I have wonderful memories of the Torgrimson family, including Aunt Betty, Uncle Hank, Dale, and Carol coming for the annual summer visit to Montana.😊 We looked forward to family dinners, swimming, sleepovers etc. , which included my sister Pam, and cousin Debbie, ( also now in heaven with Uncle Hank and Aunt Betty). I remember being treated to 7up floats at Grandma's house, served up by Aunt Betty. It was my first time having one. ☺️ She will be missed, but knowing we will see her again in heaven helps so much. I miss both Hank & Betty so much. They were so fun to hang around with. Betty was a great cook & hostess. Her laugh was contagious. She was a great friend to my mom Pauline. She was always so kind to me & had a listening ear. She & Hank raised two lovely kids who are also kind & fun to hang out with. It has been my privelege to have had my life & Betty's cross paths.
