Many called her Mrs. C. I worked for her for about 7 years. She always treated me and my children kindly. She was a true lady. There aren't many of those today. We had to leave WA in 2017 or I would have been still working for her. I think of her often. I cleaned for her and did her landscaping. I miss her terribly. Mrs C had so much love in her heart for others. She always made us feel welcome. I can still hear her sweet voice. It was such a pleasure working for her and knowing her. She always thought of others. I will never forget her. I know she understands everything now and we will see her again someday. Bye Mrs C you're a true gem.

I met Beryl about 50 years ago when I started dating her daughter Julie who became my best friend and wife. She was the consummate English Lady Hostess at all our family functions.
I will always remember our Christmas parties with the English Crackers and goofy paper hats and singing Christmas songs with our 5 part harmonies and sound effects like our Little Drummer Boy that we could never get thru because Grandma Poppins couldn’t stop laughing, which affected us all… JFW, Son-in-Law…

My Grandma was the best there ever was. She was able to make each and every one of us feel as if you were her favorite (even though it really was me guys, just saying). She had a passion for life and loved to laugh and dance and sing. Her laugh was infectious and many times we would laugh until our sides cramped. I don't think she ever made it through my dad singing "Blue Christmas" at the family Christmas party without being in tears. She loved her family without fault and was always able to see the best in her family, even if we always didn't deserve it. She made time for us as individuals and always called to find out about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was nick-named Grandma Poppins in my family and it stuck. All my children call her this. I know she will check in on us from heaven, she will "give her nose a treat" from time to time and I will look forward to seeing her again someday happy and healthy. I love you Grandma and I will miss you until that time.
