Berta Barnard's Obituary
Berta Barnard was born on February 29, 1932 in Stroheim, Austria and passed away on October 15, 2002. Berta was active in the Tacoma Athletic Club and the Humane Society. She was very religious and had accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. She was a personal Good Samaritan to her neighborhood friends, children and animals. Berta was also on the presidential campaign for Jimmy Carter. You could always have a guaranteed laugh from her when she emphasized to others she had less birthdays than her grandchildren. She was only 17 birthdays young. BertaÂ's prize possession was a puzzle monkey tree which grew to near record height. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Leo Barnard, son Donald William Barnard, mother Maria Gugenberger and father Joseph Sellenhofer, 3 dogs Fearless, Mozart, Solo & other adopted animals. She is survived by her daughter Belinda Barnard-Brown and husband Randy, son Ronald Leo Barnard & wife Lynda, 4 grandchildren Joshua, Angella, Robyn & Stephen, & dog Muffin. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
