I KNOW YOUR LOSS, BERNY WAS A GREAT LADY, I LOVED HER. WE USED TO LIVE ON OLD BENTHEIN LOOP RD. YOUR MOM BROUGHT LOTS OF HAPPINESS TO MY LIFE, AND YOUR DAD TOO. I GOT TO UPHOLSTER THE SOFA SLEEPER ON THE BOAT, OR YAHT, AND MAKE THE CUSHIONS, WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AS I REALLY LOVE BOATS, BIG BOATS. YOUR MOTHER AND I TALKED SEWING AND I LOVED HER SEWING ROOM, HER FILE CABINET FULL OF PATTERNS FROM HER WONDERFUL DAUGHTER, AND HER SERGER, AND EVERYTHING SET UP, IRON, PLACE TO PUT PATTERN GUIDE, WHAT A SET UP. I ALWAYS WANTED ONE JUST LIKE HERS. SHE WAS A GREAT LADY.##imported-begin##DENISE KEPPELER##imported-end##

We were so sorry to read Sunday Obituary of Bernice passing to be with our Lord. Bernice has been a joy to know thru many years at the Fife Presbyterian and later Mission Woods Presbyterian Church in Milton. What a beautiful smile and greeting with such a happy laugh. I had the pleasure of being her Deacon for a number of years and though she was not with us in attendence these past years the pleasure was mine to keep in touch with cards which was a joy. We will miss her beautiful smile and loving ways and miss sending her Birthday cards particularly this coming July but she will be in our heart. God Bless. Jane L. Longey Deacon and Members of Mission Woods Church, Milton`.##imported-begin##Jane L. Longey##imported-end##
Wayne, Ron and rest of family. Having just recently lost my mom, i share your loss of Bernie. I have fond memories of her as i grew up. Although these things are not unexpected at the ages of our parents, they still can be difficult to experience. My thoughts are with you.##imported-begin##jim farris##imported-end##
Grandma Bernie will always have a special place in my heart. She always smiled and shared her kindness with me and to all those around her. A bright light and amazing woman. My deepest sympathy to those closest to her.

As the first grandchild, I was blessed first to be lavished with love by my grandmother. My "Grandma Bernie" wore so many hats-business woman, democrat, mentor, teacher, cheerleader, family matriarch, etc. With a heart as big as Texas and an uncrushable spirt(despite some major health issues)she was a woman to be admired and emulated. The mold was broken with her. There will never be another~ Miss you . . .Molly##imported-begin##Molly Brawford (Streich)##imported-end##

John, Chris Ron and Wayne, condolences to you and your families. It is something we can not prepare for, but knowing what a wonderful life she had, and the mom that most kids would only dream of, you must miss her awfully. john spencer##imported-begin##John Spencer##imported-end##
