Bernadette B. King's Obituary
Bernadette Bobbie King, age 57, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 12, 2019 at her home. Bernadette will be missed dearly as she was beloved by many family members & friends. Our hearts are broken.
Bernadette was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1962. The family moved to California while she was young and eventually moved to Washington permanently, as a little girl. Bernadette attended Catholic schools throughout her grade school years before entering into the public school system in Tacoma, Washington for her Junior high and high school years.
Bernadette discovered the love of her dreams and married Aaron King in 1981. She was just 19 years old. Bernadette and Aaron began their lives quest together. The two of them raised a daughter-Charla, and had many adventures along their life journey with their marriage and laughter spanning nearly 38 wonderful years. In 2016 Bernadette & Aaron were blessed with a lovely grandchild-Levi. Levi was the light in her eyes and kept her going in times of extreme sickness.
Bernadette was called home by the lord on February 12, 2019 to join hands with her father, grandmother and many loved ones that have gone to heaven before her. She is at peace now and forever!
A Memorial Service for Bernadette will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 in the beautiful Garden Chapel. A reception will follow in the Oak Room at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Lakewood. Following this the family will hold a private burial to lay “Bernie” to rest at Calvary Cemetery. The family has requested flowers to the memorial in lieu of alternative gifts.
